NeoGenomics is looking for a Manager of Medical Operations wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is a remote position with a Monday – Friday day shift.

Position Summary:

As the Manager of Medical Operations serves as a critical operational leader of the medical team. This individual plays pivotal roles in analytics and reporting, project management, capacity assessment, and staffing planning/modeling. This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of department objectives, strategies, policies, and procedures while ensuring efficient operations and the achievement of high-quality outcomes. The Manager of Medical Operations collaborates with various stakeholders to align resources, manage budgets, and drive performance to support the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities:
Develop dashboards to monitor key department metrics (turnaround time, quality, customer service, productivity, etc.)
Develop capacity models (at the subspecialty level) and ensure that all divisions/departments are staffed adequately for the scope of service and necessary turnaround time (as allowed/approved by budgeting)
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to agreed-upon deadlines
Drive efficiency within the medical team
Plan and develop objectives and goals for divisions/departments; ensure development, implementation, and administration of department policies, procedures, turnaround time, and quality; participate in long-range planning and strategy development across all sites
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate medical operations with other operational units in the business
Manage per diem (daily/hourly contractor) staffing to flex capacity as needed
Develop and support onboarding activities for new members of the medical team
Oversee and support monitoring of ongoing medical licensure and CME status of the medical staff
